Insane survival sunday at the Fox with the Los Angeles Gooners. Most tumultuous season everrrr. hoping to build on what we’ve achieved and finally challenge for some titles next season. qualifying into the group stages of the champions league was half the battle.

So city just mauled united. I don’t understand how SAF can go for a purely defensive formation with ten guys behind the ball almost throughout the whole match. The fact that city have taken arsenals lateral full-back approach with clichy and zabaleta is quite amusing. and watching Nasri and Clichy’s interplay is just over the top. Honestly, either of the two manchester clubs taking the title this season is really a slap in the face to the quality of the sport and the competitiveness of the league. City’s buying of the prem is almost unforgivable when their bench costs more than our entire first XI. I guess these days squad rotation is the name of the game and depth is more important than ever, especially while vying for multiple titles in a season. but I feel depth can open the door, but its team cohesiveness and character that gets you through it.
I enjoy our youth approach to the carling cup. I hope that next season we’ll finally have a young squad front 3 consisting of Miyaichi, Campbell, and Oxlade-Chamberlain. Some competition for midfield spots would also be refreshing as well, but at this point its way too early to speculate. Podolski finally putting pen to paper has been a great burden lifted. Talk was quite similar of a certain Juan Mata in last seasons transfer dealings until Chelsea came in a t-boned him away with promises of a larger wage and a megalomaniacal russian owner bent on buying winning the champions league. the future of the 2012-2013 season is looking rosy and I’m more than stoked that business is getting done early this year and not 24 hours before the transfer window closes.
